Hawk Export Chrome Extension’s privacy policy is detailed here.

Information We Access

The Extension reads the ct0 authentication cookie from x.com to obtain a CSRF token required to make authenticated requests to X's own public and internal API endpoints. The Extension also reads follower and following data (such as user ID, username, bio, follower count, following status, device, and post activity) that is retrieved directly from X's API on your behalf, using your own logged in session.

Information We Store

Fetched follower and following data, along with your comment filtering configuration (regex rules, block mode, emoji limit), is stored locally in your browser using the storage.local API. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any external server operated by the developer or any third party.

Information We Do Not Collect

The Extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, browsing history, or authentication credentials with the developer or any third party. No analytics, tracking, or advertising services are integrated into the Extension.

How Data Is Used

Follower and following data is used solely to populate the local data table for your own review and filtering within the Extension interface.

The authentication cookie is used only to authorize requests to x.com's own API on your behalf.

Comment filtering rules are used only to automatically hide or block replies on tweet threads according to your own configured criteria.

Data Sharing

The Extension does not share any data with third parties. All network requests are made directly between your browser and x.com's official API endpoints.

Data Retention and Deletion

All data is stored locally in your browser's storage. You can clear this data at any time by removing the Extension or clearing the extension's local storage through your browser settings.

Security

Because all data processing happens locally within your browser, the Extension does not maintain any backend server, database, or remote infrastructure that could be independently compromised.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.

Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact the developer through the support channel listed on the extension's Chrome Web Store listing page.
